Becky White

Becky White has been teaching yoga for over 8 years, but that’s not where her wellness career began. In her mid-twenties she found herself taking group fitness classes at a studio in Weymouth when the owner asked her to get certified to help teach. From there her passion grew into all forms of fitness. She became a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer, but mostly taught cardio and high intensity types of classes. After 2 years, her body began to rebel from running those kinds of classes full time. So, she turned to yoga and earned a 200-hour certification! During her career Becky has directed wellness challenges and corporate health events, run nonprofit wellness programs, taught at locations all over Boston and the south shore, and continues to show a passion for new and upcoming forms of fitness.

Favorite Pose- anything fun and unique! She loves inversions, arm balances, and anything that challenges you to try harder.

Becky prefers to teach vinyasa, but more recently she has been adding primal movements and mobility work to her yoga flows. Her personal training background definitely comes into play during her classes.  Yoga is her way to be creative.  She often plays contemporary music in her class and loves to make people laugh and smile during class. She has a strong tendency to make you move your body in ways you never have before.

Becky loves to travel and does so as much as she can. Over the last few years she’s been to Paris, Edinburgh, the Dominican Republic and Mexico (twice).

When Becky is not teaching, her twin toddlers are keeping her on the go!
