Gina Ostis

Gina’s introduction to yoga began many years ago when she was a teenager.  She practiced inconsistently throughout the years.  It wasn’t until about 15 years ago, in 2006, that she found her way back to her mat and developed an almost daily practice.  The movement of her body with the breath work was addictive in the most positive way.  

This led her to want to delve deeper into this most ancient practice.  The first certification she acquired was a children’s TT through Radiant Child Yoga with Checka Antifonario.  This was followed by her 200RYT with Elyse Siegman (formerly Foster) and Jacqui Bonwell through Sacred Seeds Yoga School.  Additionally, she is certified in Reiki 1 Training, two prenatal yoga certifications, and most recently has studied at Down Under School of Yoga to acquire her 300-hour certification.

She enjoys all styles of yoga, and appreciates what they can offer on any given day for every body.  She particularly loves to practice and teach a vinyasa style flow.  From slower and deeper, to a more lively pace, vinyasa is her favorite!

There are so many people who have influenced and inspired her journey into yoga.  To name just a few……Kathy Madden White (formerly Keene), Elyse Siegman, Natasha Rizopoulos, Larisa Forman, and Kate Robinson.

When she is not practicing or teaching, you can find her out in the woods with Henry (her canine companion), in the kitchen concocting something delicious, reading and, of course, spending as much time as she can with family and friends.
